Membership Benefits

We've successfully held our events online since April, 2020: guild meetings, workshops, community sew days and more. We held our book sale online. We have occasional drive throughs at our meeting location to drop off and pick up projects with our various committees. Our plans for 2021 will continue online until it is safe to gather in person. Members who've participated online tell us how much they enjoy meeting online and how they have gotten to know more people this year. In meetings everyone has a front row seat through Zoom. Of course, we miss gathering in person, but we're making do and doing it well given our present circumstances. Join us in 2021!

Monthly Guild Meetings

Members attend free each month as we gather for fun, friendship and creativity. Programs feature national and local speakers who inspire and educate us. Twice a year or so, we celebrate with potlucks.

Many of our speakers also teach workshops in a variety of styles, skills and techniques. Members may access advance registration at discounted rates before non-members can register.

NEW IN 2021
Workshops are scheduled mostly for Saturdays to allow our working members to participate.

Online Community

We have a private Facebook group for ACQ members.  Ask questions, provide tips, post photos of your quilts, sell or swap quilty items, and share other quilt-related news. Must have a Facebook account. Members: request access.

Quilt Library

ACQ has a library of over 300 books available for members to check out at guild meetings. Titles that we own are listed in the Members-only section of this site.

Special Activities

These vary from year to year, but in 2021 we're planning a Block of the Month from our President, a Free Motion Quilt Club (starting March 2021) Quilt Challenges, monthly online Community Sew Days for Charitable Quilts, and more! Got ideas? We'd love to hear them

Quilt Show Every Two Years

ACQ hosts the Festival of Quilts every other year. The next quilt show has been postponed from June, 2021 to June, 2022.

New Member Tea

Hosted in the Spring, the tea provides an opportunity to meet other new members and ACQ leadership.

Monthly Newsletter

ACQ Views keeps members informed about guild meetings, workshops, activities and special events.

Show and Tell

A highlight of our monthly meetings is show and tell when Members (and guests) display their quilts—inspiration galore!
