Challenge Quilt

For the 2027 Festival of Quilts show, the quilt challenge will have a small twist! Instead of a competition, you are invited to participate by stitching and donating a 24-inch square (or smaller) mini quilt that will be on sale at the show for $20.

Consider repurposing sample blocks from classes, extra blocks from completed projects, or embroidery blocks. Maybe try a new technique or perfect one that you are working on and turn your efforts into a mini quilt. Any of these efforts are good candidates to use for donating mini quilts to sell in the boutique at the 2027 Festival of Quilts.

1. Mini quilts can be maximum of 24x24-inches square (or smaller).
   
   
2. Entries can be pieced, appliquéd, mixed or other.
   
   
3. Mini quilts must be quilted through 3 layers by hand, machine or both.
   
   
4. Entries should be finished, quilted and bound (or faced). If your mini looks best with an artistic 'raw' edge, that is fine.
   
   
5. Entries should also include a sleeve, loop, or corner hangers for hanging.
   
   
6. There is no entry fee (and no competition), so feel free to submit as many mini quilts as desired to help raise funds for ACQ.
   
   
7. All sales will benefit ACQ efforts. Quilts will not be returned, and those not sold will be included in future fundraising or charity events.
