Arapahoe County Quilters

Celebrating the Art of Quiltmaking for 30+ Years

BOOKS and BARGAINS Yard Sale & Social

May 30, 2022 9:00 PM | Lynn Roginski

This Event is BIG! It takes place Saturday, June 11th, from 9 am – 12 noon inside Plymouth Hall at the First Plymouth Congregational Church.

This event includes:

  • a “mini” June Guild meeting with announcements
  • Bring your favorite quilt for a “Show-n-Tell” during our PARADE OF QUILTS
  • View the “3-in-one” Challenge Quilts and vote for your top 3 favorites.
  • time to visit with friends while enjoying refreshments.

And there will several Door Prizes scattered during the course of the event!

In addition, there will be 5 fun ways to shop!

  • 7 Individual Member’s Tables
  • ACQ Set-Pricing Tables ($2 and $5 items)
  • ACQ Silent Auction Tables
  • ACQ Free Items Tables
  • ACQ Book Sale

We are still taking donations and signups. Items will be accepted on June 11th between 8:30 am and 9:00 am as long as they are pre-priced and all required forms are completed. Items must be pre-priced before donating. The Silent Auction Bidding Sheet must be filled out in advance by the donor with the “starting bid” placed on the form.  An itinerary of times and events will be handed out at the door. All winning items must be paid for by the end of the event.  Charge cards accepted for purchases in excess of $5.00. Bring bags for your purchase.

Those wanting an Individual Table must register by June 4th so that we can make room to add you.  We have a lot of GREAT items available for purchase, including new, packaged, and never-used items, hanging quilt racks, zippered fat-quarter/project bags, and more!   Plus, a sewing machine complete with manual!

We need several volunteers who would like to assist with either set-up, checkout, hospitality, or other small duties as needed.  If interested, please contact either Kathy Wasilewski.

Please sign up in advance if you are planning to attend.  We are at a 100-person limit by the church and will need a count for refreshments and tables needed.

Door open at 9:00 am.
