The month of November is typically a month where we reflect on the blessings we have in our lives. In our house, we each share one thing we are thankful for each day at dinner. It’s a great way to be reflective and focus on gratitude. So, what are you thankful for?
This year I am thankful for all of our members who have stepped up to help in keeping our guild moving forward. A year ago, we were hoping to be back to “normal” meetings – yet, we have hung in there continuing the online format in order to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have also expanded into opportunities to meet as small groups: including a guild visit to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum, book fair and drive thru/drop off events. We have led two successful online auctions to support our charitable quilts – all thanks to the generous donors and bidders.
As we look forward to 2022, we have some amazing things to look forward to – and be thankful for. We have an opportunity for guild members to register for a workshop bundle (either 5 or 9) at a significant discount. This will lock in your spot for our limited space workshops. We also have the Festival of Quilts, postponed from this year, which will feature a celebration of quilting by our guild members. We are also planning an exciting virtual retreat coming in February! Stay tuned for updates.
And a special thank you to all the volunteers who are making these awesome events happen!
