June 9, 2005  -   Judy Neimeyer, "Reaching Beyond Tradition with Foundation Piecing"

Each of Judy's patterns has a sense of a familiar design, but with a unique, original twist.

July 14, 2005   -   Lenore Crawford, "Impressionistic Fabric Blending"

As an artist, Lenore Crawford has used many different mediums to express herself. In the last four or five years she has been working in the design and construction of art quilts using the watercolor quilting technique. This technique uses 2" squares of hundreds of different fabrics to create a scene she has designed.

This is a slide talk, a lighthearted retrospective look at the development of my work, covering almost 30 years of textile work and play. We'll see some things that worked, and some that didn't, but were fun learning experiences. Some of the current techniques I use and teach are shown. A small trunk show is given after the talk.
