February 12, 2004 - Pam Clark "Design with Lines"
Pam has been quilting since the late 1960's and sewing for 46
years. She lives in Spokane, WA and grew up in Sacramento, California. Pam
has been machine quilting and teaching machine quilting, piecing and appliqué classes since 1988. She is the owner of Home Stitches, a professional machine

Ryker "Log Cabin and Beyond"
Come and listen to local quilt artist June Ryker, author
of the book "Dance of the Logs". June was born in Nebraska and
lived in North Carolina and Wisconsin prior to moving to Colorado where she
discovered quilting. She has 2 daughters and 10-year old twin grandchildren. She
began her quilting career at Quilts and Other Comforts in Denver in 1974 and
later taught quilting classes there. She teaches locally, nationally and
internationally.
Log cabin designs are her specialty and she designs many of her
own patterns, teaching them in classes and selling them through her business
"The Quilted Lady".

2004 - Darleen Zimmerman "All My Favorite Quilts"
Darlene is a noted quilter and fabric designer. She loves to take traditional
blocks and find ways to easily rotary cut the pieces as well as find new
settings and new interpretations of old blocks. Darlene designs reproduction
fabrics for Chanteclaire, Inc. and is a tool designer for EZ Quilting by
Wrights.

June 3, 2004 - Fat Quarter Quilting Bee - 20th
Year Celebration
Note that our June meeting is being held on the FIRST Thursday
of the month, so that there is no conflict with our Quilt Show, which runs June
10-12.
The Fat Quarter Quilting Bee is one of the many bees affiliated
with Arapahoe County Quilters. They have been together since 1983 and will
present a program sure to please the audience. (The members refuse to disclose
exactly what the program entails.)
July 8, 2004 Lynn Kough
A quiltmaker since 1965, Lynn is known for her work in color and design. She is
the author of Stretching Tradition: New Images for Traditional Quilts (Quilt
House Publishing, 1995) and Quiltmaking for Beginners: A Stitch by Stitch Guide
to Hand and Machine Techniques (Quilt Digest Press, 1999).

August 12, 2004 - Carol Doak "Medallion Magic"
As
a best-selling author, celebrated teacher and lecturer, and award-winning
quiltmaker, Carol Doak has greatly influenced the art and craft of quiltmaking
for more than a decade. Hailing from Wyndham, New Hampshire, her trademark
technique is paper piecing. Carol is a very modern quilter and most of her new
books come complete with a CD-Rom for printing out templates.

Lynne started her company, Kansas Troubles Quilters in 1989 with 2 partners. She
designs and creates primitive country quilts.from her studio in Bennington,

Rachel
Clark is a contemporary folk artist and teacher
from San Francisco. She has been designing wearable art for twelve years. She is
a frequent guest on the popular television program "Simply Quilts".

Hari
Walner is known for her expertise in machine quilting, and she has appeared on
HGTV's Simply Quilts. Hari lives in Loveland, Colorado.
